BEFORE YOU COME

Questions guests ask

I am vegan or vegetarian. Can I still join?
Yes. Tell us when you book and food is prepared especially for you — your own pairing for each of the nine sake, not a plate set aside.
Can I bring my children?
Children cannot drink alcohol, of course, but they are welcome to stay with you. In that case we will not seat other guests with your group.
I have a food allergy.
Write it in the booking note and we will adjust the snacks. Please tell us before the day rather than on arrival, so the instructor can prepare the pairings.
How much sake is nine tastings?
Each pour is a tasting measure rather than a full glass, served over ninety minutes with food. You are welcome to leave any of the nine untouched, and water is always on the table.
Do I need to know anything about sake?
No. Most guests arrive having only had sake in a restaurant. The session starts from what sake is and how it is made.
What if I am running late?
Call or message us. The session begins on time for the other guests, but we will seat you and catch you up as soon as you arrive.
